Enjoy happy hour wine tasting at Dabble, the Jacquard’s ultimate see-and-be-seen location & talk to the experts while enjoying a preview of award-winning Executive Chef of Narrative, Paul Nagan.

Ceviche is the famous dish from Latin America where fresh fish and other seafood is “cooked” in lime juice and mixed with chili, coriander/cilantro, onion and other flavorings.

 

Be guided by executive chef Oscar Padilla when you learn how to make Toro’s signature Mercado Margarita and chef’s choice of ceviche. Take home your cocktail shaker once the class is over & create your own!​

Dance into the sunset with a good wine list & playlist from one of the best views in town—on the rooftop of The Halcyon, a hotel in Cherry Creek. Guests preview small bites from Local Jones executive Chef Brendalee Vialpando, who will be featured in the Grand Tasting.

ISLAND OYSTER BAR

Location: Blue Island Oyster Bar | 2625 East 2nd Ave.

Enjoy a dozen oysters from around the world and learn how to properly shuck an oyster from the experts while sipping on a glass of sparkling wine.

 

The part of the ocean an oyster comes from dictates the brine, creaminess, merrior, and finish—let Blue Island Oyster show you their map of oyster farms! Take your own shucking knife home with you after the class.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 20TH:

DINNER ON THE PLAZA

5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Location: Fillmore Plaza | Between 1st and 2nd Ave. on Fillmore St.

The culmination of Food & Wine leaves no foodie unimpressed. Dinner on the Plaza features a four-course meal that takes place on a 120-foot-long community table on Fillmore Plaza. Three incredible female chefs will prepare this culminating feast: James Beard Award Winner Chef Charleen Badman, Top Chef contestant Chef Tiffany Derry, celebrity chef Mary Dumont, and local Executive Chef of Local Jones Chef Brendalee Vialpando.
